Prospective graduate students
Dr. Park will be reviewing applications for graduate students for the 2027-2028 academic year. For information about the Social Psychology program at Rutgers University, click here.
Volunteer research assistants
We accept applications from undergraduate students and recent graduates on a rolling basis. As a volunteer research assistant, you will gain firsthand experience conducting psychological research. Depending on ongoing projects, your work may include scheduling and running participants, preprocessing physiological data, pilot-testing study procedures, coding behavioral data, or conducting preliminary analyses. With experience, research assistants may also have opportunities to present research posters at academic conferences or contribute to manuscript preparation.
Our lab's work is highly interdisciplinary (as is relationship science itself!). We welcome applications from students in a wide range of majors who are interested in learning about and contributing to the theories and methods of relationship science. Prior coursework in social psychology (830:321 or equivalent) is encouraged but not required.
Before applying, please ensure that you
a) can attend our bi-weekly lab meeting (schedule TBA), and
b) can commit 5-10 hours per week for at least two semesters.
We carefully review every application, so please take the time to submit a thoughtful one.
